transfer landscape drawings

These drawings use the process of photographic transfer printmaking in combination with chalk pastels and graphite. I make laser-jet prints of found and original photographic imagery, and transfer the photos to new paper as a hand-printed mirror image of the original using non-toxic chemicals that strip the surface of the original paper. The result becomes textured hand-made maps, distorted architectural facades, and chaotic landscapes.
